How It Works

Step 1: Submit Your Information

Complete the online form to schedule an in-home appointment for a professional independent installer to measure your space and assess your appliance needs

Step 2: Get Your Quote

When your measurement is complete, we’ll follow up with a quote. It’ll include product and labor along with Special Financing options to fit your budget. We’ll answer any questions you have and schedule an installation date that works for you.

Step 3: Installation Day

Once the installation is complete, your installer will clean up, review manufacturer care and maintenance instructions with you, and ensure you’re 100% satisfied.

What You Can Expect

Connect the new appliance to an existing power source (electric, gas) and water source
Unbox and inspect the appliance to confirm make and model
Inspect the appliance for visible damage
Remove packaging from your home
Haul away your existing appliance if haul away was purchased or included
Level and test the new appliance to ensure proper connection
Connect the anti-tip bracket, if included
Provide basic product demonstration and testing
Relocate an old freestanding appliance within the same residence (re-connection not included)

Please Note: Additional delivery fees may include travel cost, tools and trip permits.
All cords must be new and are required for connection (sold separately and automatically added to cart). Existing connector and cords can’t be reused.

An adult age 18 or older must be present at the time of the appointment to sign for the delivery.

Haul Away: Haul away can be purchased separately (selection available to add in cart). Haul away is free for customers with a Lowe’s Pro Account.

Will our old appliance be hauled away?

Our team will relocate the appliance to another room in your home or garage for free. If you want us to take the appliance out of your home and handle the disposal, you may incur extra charges for hauling and dumping fees.

Will new appliances where no existing connection is available be installed?

We not only install when connections are available, but we can also collaborate with our electrical and plumbing partners to create the necessary connections.

What if my new appliance is damaged or not working correctly?

Before installing your new product, please inspect it to make sure everything is in order. After it's installed, we'll test it to ensure it works correctly. If any issues arise, we'll arrange for a replacement appliance to be delivered and installed.

Our professional installers will take care of your dishwasher, wall oven, cooktop, gas range, gas dryer and over-the-range microwave installation. Just connect with a Lowe's associate and let them know what's needed. We'll handle the rest, with prompt and professional service that treats your home with the care and diligence it deserves.

Dishwasher Installation

Connecting your new dishwasher to your home's electrical power isn't always simply a matter of plugging in a cord into an outlet. Dishwashers can have complex electrical wiring and circuitry. Lowe's dishwasher installation handles the electrical connections as well as connecting to water lines and drain lines. In fact, in most neighborhoods, your installer will also take care of obtaining any necessary permits for your new appliances, such as for gas ranges (depending on local regulations).

Gas Appliance Connection

For additional maneuverability, purchase a flexible gas connector and we'll connect it for you. Then, after everything's connected, we'll check your new gas appliances for leaks, too. We'll also put in a new metal vent for gas dryers, and test your new appliance to make sure it's working.

Haul Away

Once your new appliance is connected and ready to go, we can even haul away the old appliance. (Haul-away and dump charges may apply, so be sure to double-check before requesting.) That's the full-service performance you've come to expect from Lowe's.
